One to One Tuition
AW Virtual Tuition offers individual tuition at KS3 and KS4 level.
There are several benefits to individual tuition.
- With a student being given the tutor’s full attention, very quickly the current level, potential and learning style of the student can be determined. The lessons can then be personalised, enabling a student to learn at their own pace with the content tailored to their individual knowledge and learning style.
- Focus can be put on areas that are being found difficult with no moving forward before a concept or topic has been understood. Conversely, there is no hanging back whilst another student catches up once something has been completed.
- A student tends to remain more focussed, as they alone have the tutor’s attention.
- The aim is to provide a relaxed learning environment where the student feels comfortable to ask, or answer, any question and doesn’t fear getting something wrong, for that is how we learn.
- AW Virtual Tuition hopes to foster an enjoyment of biology and an overall enthusiasm for learning and understanding. One to one tuition can quickly improve a student’s confidence in a subject as well as in themselves and their ability. I never tire of hearing the words, ‘Biology is now my favourite subject!’.
